To Report A Street Light Outage

When a street light is out near your home or in your neighborhood, please contact the Town Office 301-475-9791 or email the Commissioners with the following information:

  • Your Contact Information (Name and Phone Number)
  • Location of street light (exact address or nearest address to the outage)
  • Pole Number (silver plate on pole consisting of letters and numbers)

Once a report of a street light outage is received, a work order is placed with SMECO for repair. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the work order to be completed.
